Unfortunately, there is more of both the Anti-gentrification plot (which weirdly seems to come down on the side of gentrification) and a healthy dose of "Snowflake/Millennial humor in the first half of the season at least. It's…not great. Still, the season overall has been quite funny, if a little muddled.

Now, I think Vin Diesel is a great actor in the right roles. However, let's be realistic: Timothy Olyphant is not "probably" a better actor.

First Girlfriend: Badass, semi-sociopathic assassin-cum-government-spook.

Well always nice to see Coby Bell getting work. This looks decent enough that I'll want to watch it, not just have to because it's X-men. I like the kinda HRG vibe I'm getting from Stephen Moyer as well. My only concern based on this trailer, is that at least 2 or 3 of the mutants seem to have generic telekinetic

I will never not upvote the Maggot reference.

This just makes it less likely that she'll be brought back to Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D as a regular. So damn MacFarlane for that.

I remember him brightening up the truly shitty neo-exploitation story of Hitman: Absolution. Fantastic actor. He'll be missed.

Sweet MODOK reference.

I'm so happy.

I want good Ward so badly.

He was surprisingly good in Jack Reacher, a surprisingly good movie. It's been disappointing that more people don't cast Jai Courtney as a villain.

Just got back from seeing this, and I was surprisingly disappointed. I felt like it was quite sloppy with it's storytelling and tried to cram far too many subplots in the film, which ended up leaving all of the plots underserved. There were an insane amount of ham-fisted exposition/emotion scenes as well, three in a

They're…they're still running with this Wonder Woman pissing fire joke.

…Awesome.

I'll admit: replacing the lettuce in a BLT with kale could be a good idea, but calling it a BTK seems in poor taste.
I really want a Bob's Burgers recipe called the BTK burger now.

Have they explained what about the change makes her evil yet? Because if they have, I legitimately don't remember. Not that it would make it much better, as making her generically evil is the most inert choice, dramatically.

I don't know, getting slammed into the side of a track and crushing your skull in still sounds pretty tragic. Not to mention getting stabbed in the heart by a stingray.

Vin Diesel was the voice of Baby Groot as well, actually. I'm sure they pitched him up but most of it was him "talking higher than normal".

Frank and Claire going full super-villain, as they hinted at at end of last season, is the best possible direction the show can take, imo. Corny/Crazy is better.

You been watching Fargo, or do you just generally say sympatico? Because either is great.
