I’m convinced that most major corporations are just a house of cards — nothing more than accounting tricks to keep their heads barely above water while the executives enrich themselves. Tap one little card at the bottom and everything comes crashing down, except for executive salaries of course. Gotta take care of

If they quit going to Starbucks and eating avocado toast every morning they would be just fine. They just need to get a 2nd or 3rd job and pull themselves up by their boot straps.

To me, it seems pretty fucked up that all of these large corporations run into difficulty so soon after a negative economic event(I claim rights to that term) that their existence becomes untenable.

Harley Davidson Road Glide Ultra CVO - 968 pounds curb weight

Could you imagine driving something with more than one horsepower per pound?

I remember selling running 914s for 1500. I remember buying my first 944 for 1500.

I currently have a 986 Boxster, an 84 944 Euro, and a 76 912E. The 944 is for sale. The Boxster is getting a Leaf drivetrain in the front trunk to power the front wheels via 996 Carrera 4 uprights and axles. Once that is done, I’ll work

I am working on electrifying two of them, and I’m working on selling the third.

Average EV consumes .28 kWh per mile currently. Technology will improve.

Assume 10,000 miles in a year, which is what the average EV driver does in a year. As many businesses transition to telecommute and Americans increasingly move to the city, this will continue to

Yeah, this and the whole “electricity production leads to more fossil fuel consumption” are just not up for debate anymore. Electricity has been moving towards renewables for decades, and technologies have improved quite a lot. Coal and diesel electricity is being phased out all over the world. Even if that may be

The same curmudgeons are complaining about radial tires and disk brakes.

I hate new things too, brother. That's why I still drive a horse.

Did this math a few months ago.

Bullshit. Our power grid can more than handle a rapid growth in EV adoption, and anyone telling you otherwise is lying.

The old yoostabee gearheads didn’t like the transition to fuel injection either, but I don’t see them bitching about it now that there are cars running tens in the quarter mile from the factory.

You

How about ‘motorhead’ instead?

Maybe you should not post thoughts like that when people share experiences with you.

Certainly”-

Doesn’t the ZL1 come with a ton of handling mods too though?

Almost ZL1 power, but without the magnaride, upgraded brakes, E-LSD, wider front fenders for wider front tires, nor wider rear tires to put the power to the ground? Cars and Coffee here we come!
