Twitter was never a “town square.” Twitter never mattered. The people on Twitter have never been representative of anything, Twitter beefs don’t matter, the “discourse” never mattered, log off and touch grass.

I do understand the frustration over this hypocrisy.  I got frustrated when Democrats who said the 2016 election was stolen complained about election deniers in 2020.  Then tried to gaslight that their complaint had to do with a riot, despite their complaints predating the riot.

When can we all agree that what happens on Twitter is not news. It’s just people saying whatever dumb thing they want to say with no repercussions and STOP reporting on it like it’s news???   It never has been news and it never will be.  Social media is just not worthy of actual news reporters.  I don’t care how much

You guys pretending to care about free speech is adorable.

Previous twitter owners made it a bannable offense to tell a journalist to learn to code.  Let me get my tiniest violin out for you...

Yeah, and I was struggling with this bit:

Fry him? No, but there is a SERIOUS issue that a higher up at twitter was having weekly meetings with the FBI and mouthbreathers see this and just shrug. They say you have to fight “hate speech” and “fascists” and of course who determines what is hate speech and who is a fascist? These motherfuckers, who can’t even

The problem is you guys are too stupid to properly use the term “fascist” and thus can’t be trusted whenever you brand someone a fascist.

But Lifehacker told me to….

No.  The biggest problem is that he is a lying cheating unethical dog.  You can’t blame “racism” for your self inflicted injuries.

Much respect to Elon for removing liberals’ monopoly on public discourse. A town square shouldn’t have guard towers.

LOL shoulda known better. The more money a brotha makes, the whiter their women get. It’s basic biology.

Anyone think the bit at 1.08 was Chewie and Han in the Falcon?

Probably because most of what the government lap-dog censors over there were labeling as “misinformation” turned out to be true. Things like: it was a lab leak, the “vaccine” doesn’t prevent infection or transmission, it didn’t come from the “wet markets”, China was great at “Zero Covid” (while welding the doors to

I didn’t catch covid until after I received the vaccine*.   Unlike every other vaccine I’ve received in the last 50 years, the covid vaccine was the only one that proceeded me actually becoming infected with covid.   The person who gave it to me was fully vaccinated with a different vaccine than I had, so that’s 2 of

Really? Because according to the manufacturers, the “vaccine” doesn’t do anything to prevent infection or transmission. It must be a weird world you live in to believe whatever the government tells you.

The problem is, a lot of the misinformation was proved to be correct, and what was told by authorities itself was proven wrong. It’s a bad idea to have a social media company screen the accuracy of content.

“Try not to charge past 80% for optimum battery life
“Fast charging should be limited to when absolutely necessary”
“Capacity loss is normal”
“Don’t run the heat, dress warmer and use your heated seat instead”
“Pre-condition the battery before you drive”
“Range loss in winter is normal and expected”

The limitations of EV’s

“Both Apple and Google have policies that ban apps in its stores from containing hate or discriminatory speech, bullying, harassment, and sexually explicit content.”

I don’t think it’s likely that Twitter will get removed from the Google or Apple stores just because of some stupid thing some conservative person said.
