I think it would be neat if you pulled the buttons up from the bottom, similar to how you pull the notification bar down from the top on an Android.

I'll take a great mobile site over an app any day.

Vote: Outlook

See, this is why I seal my phone with the stem cells of virgin unicorns and an anti-scrying ward. It's the only safe way.

Yeah man, he wanted to play like homebrew and stuff. Pirate games??? PFFFFT!

Oh you, with your article reading wackiness.

My Sam's club membership pays itself off in cheese alone.

My children adore Minecraft, and so do all their RL friends. All of whom would love one of these things.

As long as they continue to add useful features, they can call it late for dinner for all I care. A friend of mine said yesterday he thinks the whole "Live" thing feels forced and markety. I'm not sure I disagree.

It's not a picture of the kid, apparently, just some other kid.

There are still an awful lot of people out there in the world who don't use e-mail, and don't use smartphones, but they still have cell-phones, and they still text. For example, email as an alternative would work great for me to contact my wife and kids, but if I want to contact my mom or my brother, and I don't want

A box of awesome.

Does anyone know how to make it so that custom search folders in Outlook don't look in the deleted and sent items?

TV Tropes.

I can't wait to try it myself. I've often wanted a tile/smartphone-like desktop. They need to demo it on a non-touchscreen PC though so that people can stop freaking out.

Windows Phone is a great product as well, and also Microsoft Security Essentials. I am quickly finding that the people most likely to chomp at the bit to complain about how crappy something is are often those least likely to actually have tried it.

I agree. It is a "walled garden" but I like it. I use both iTunes and Zune though, and I find iTunes to be a miserable experience due to how slow and klugey it is. Even on multiple computers, with multiple devices, it takes forever to sync for me.

You can sync photos with Zune. I was really resistant to syncing instead of drag/drop to manage storage, but I have gotten very used to it. Plus, this is just personal opinion of course, but I find Zune makes it easy and fast, unlike iTunes.

My apologies. Er, nothing to see here....
