“I believe that’s Turk Turkleton.”

Dhaslim approves

Put a statue of that outside Staples Center. Perhaps, right below Shaq’s.

Now playing

Did this conjure up Silicon Valley for anyone? Russ Hanneman would be proud -

“The Rock doesn’t know what Farhan, Rohan or Zohan is talking about. The Rock is ALWAYS on top!”

It’ amazing what Lebron can do when he actually tries. I wish he would just put the beef with Phil Jackson to rest and not be petty when discussing the Knicks - Phil doesn’t work there anymore. And there is no sense in insulting a rookie point guard who is trying to make his way from another country.

I am curious if UCLA will have their hand forced to discipline these young men upon their return to campus. It’s an international incident that was completely avoidable and in the fault of each of these three students.

“Impressive.”

Sometimes we are disappointed when we meet are heroes. I am glad Aubrey Huff was never my hero. Disappointment thwarted.

I’m sure Lebron’s mother will give hime a stern talking.

This will do wonder for branding.

“Coach Bellichick? Is that you? Yes, I am available. Oh, no, Mom sorry. When God closes one door, he opens a window.... so I need to keep this line free.”

I didn’t know it took a week for an appeal. Still, I find it disconcerting that someone basically says, “I’m sorry for what I did but not sorry enough to sit out one game of the World Series. I will sit out the beginning of next year though.” My conscience would have gotten the best of me.

I don’t understand why an appeal would have necessitated the punishment carrying over to next season. It’s the World Series. The process could have been expedited.

As a child of the 80's who went to a predominantly white elementary school, I’m glad Gurriel did what he did AND was caught doing it. How often did I feel put of place because of my darker skin color? Because my classmates would pull the corner of their eyes and mock me? To see how those with white skin and blond
