I’m sure Lebron’s mother will give hime a stern talking.

This will do wonder for branding.

I’m curious how either one of them (Giannis & Bledsoe) will play off ball since both excel with ball in their hands.

That’s not at all what I was suggesting.

Does anyone else have a problem or a concern when someone uses the word “inspiration” when referring to standing up to this type of behavior? I understand the sentiment, but I just don’t believe it’s a fitting term.

I was labelled as over-sensitive by many growing up. It’s taken me a long time to realize that being over-sensitive is something I can’t completely control, but it doesn’t mean there is something wrong with me, contrary to what classmates, teachers, coaches and family members have often treated me as such the case.

“Coach Bellichick? Is that you? Yes, I am available. Oh, no, Mom sorry. When God closes one door, he opens a window.... so I need to keep this line free.”

I didn’t know it took a week for an appeal. Still, I find it disconcerting that someone basically says, “I’m sorry for what I did but not sorry enough to sit out one game of the World Series. I will sit out the beginning of next year though.” My conscience would have gotten the best of me.

I don’t understand why an appeal would have necessitated the punishment carrying over to next season. It’s the World Series. The process could have been expedited.

As a child of the 80's who went to a predominantly white elementary school, I’m glad Gurriel did what he did AND was caught doing it. How often did I feel put of place because of my darker skin color? Because my classmates would pull the corner of their eyes and mock me? To see how those with white skin and blond

The balls on Chris Taylor - He didn’t do anything, ANYTHING, before this season and now in his first World Series appearance, batting leadoff, he swings at the first pitch and hits it out. F*ing balls.

I’m more appalled that someone agreed to marry him. Let the man be, that’s on her.

Russell Westbrook would have never (NEVER) let the event at 1:22 happen -

“Ah hell. Even I can’t wrestle a star away form you. Take it.”

He has struggles but I think his struggles would be less amplified if home plate umpires were reminded that a strike at the knees to Brett Gardener (5'11"), Jacoby Ellsbury (6'1") or even Greg Bird (6'4") are not at the same level as one to Aaron Judge (6'7").

Two comments -

I kind of wish Zack Hample interfered with Judge. I’m not a fan of his “line of work” and the act would have certainly gotten him escorted out of the stadium and possibly booed at successive games.

I’d like to recommend two items that always accompany me on a DIY hair cut:

How about just “avoid Taco Bell in general”? I was once walking home from school campus at 11pm and worked up an appetite. The only eatery open along the way was Taco Bell. I had two bean & cheese burritos while walking home, brushed my teeth, got ready for bed and then woke up the next day feeling ill. After a day
