I always call them The Ultimate Leasing Machine.
I always call them The Ultimate Leasing Machine.
Funny, I was actually thinking about this recently. When I post content to Instagram, pictures of my BMW draw a lot more attention than other makes/models.
He was driving the car very delicately. Would be fun to see a hot lap. ;)
“Don’t question ze Germans! That is for us to know, and you to find out!” Context clues are a great thing.
In Summer 2011, a friend and I were in the middle of a cross country road trip. While we were in California, I decided to hit a cheap local track day, because why not? This had been a long trip, and a few things needed addressed on the car before I felt safe taking it on track. Changed the oil, changed the brake pads,…
Nah, you’ll just have to learn the (insert specific model here) wave now! The Subaru wave, the Corvette wave, etc. all the cool kids have them!
It can be fixed. Quarter panel/uniside need replaced, roof has a twist in it, and side structure will require pulls and alignment on the bench. For a car like that, they’ll fix it.

“Best” is a stretch. Are they excellent for DD and occasional back road running, sure. Go look at street tire racing at autocross, the track, or even the fast canyon guys. No one is running the Michelin there, for good reason.

Will wait to comment until I know how easy it is to swap a diff in these things. ;)
I was going to guess Chinese.
The most enjoyable part of NASCAR is watching them try to navigate a road course.
Funny you mention MT, I work in El Segundo, near their HQ. Saw someone driving a red ND Miata heading home while SB on the 405 a while back. Someone clearly won the office lottery for the sweet weekend ride.
I skimmed the video, where was Musk?
No caption necessary, we all saw what you did there.
We should get some SoCal Jalops together for some canyon runs. :)
