Keep crying, it JUST went below $4/gal in SoCal. I was in DTLA a few weeks ago and some areas were still near $5.

For agreeing to that ridiculous interest rate, yes, they do deserve to be burdened with the extra payment amount. 14%? What an ignoramus.

Is there a connection to the car, or reason why 6/1 at 3:01 EST specifically? I’m trying to fiddle the numbers around, but I don’t see any Mazda/Miata-related things that could relate to it.

I have been seeing their posts on Facebook. Not much info though, just the odd picture here and there.

Is June 1 an official date picked by Mazda for all media outlets? Can you disclose what other groups were there testing the new Miata? If everyone does a collective media dump on Monday for the Miata, I’m not going to get any work done!

This was great. Based on your driving impressions, I’m sold.

Best.

Some cars do have bumpers designed exactly like this, although they are usually trucks. When I was an Adjuster inspecting cars for the Insurance company, I saw the ins and outs of every kind of repair/damage imaginable.

Has to be Leno, he actually drives AND SHARES his collection, and the collections of others to us via Jay Leno’s Garage. If I was obscenely wealthy, besides being at the track every week, that is what I would be doing.

“With suspension that’s grounded to the ground, you better believe that Camry SE is the ride of your life!”

Si, senor. I don’t do automatics.

Great article. I am pretty much the car bore you’ve captured in the opening, wondering what ever happened to his old Mazda3 hatchback.

No way. Once the steering is that mucked up and the car is in that serious a state of understeer, put both feet in, clutch and brake, you can’t save it at that point. I learned this the hard way, and snapped oversteerd off track and into a nearby (small) pole. $1500 (with a serious parts and labor discount) later,

It’s funny because that would actually happen. Damn yuppies, leave our race tracks alone!

Nah, you’re not too old, I’m 23 and some of these suggestions are silly. I agree with the dealer who effectively said “Who is going to follow a car dealership on social media?” Internet Advertising is a great agency to move units, but hiring a full time Social Media guy is a bit ridiculous for smaller dealerships.

If you make it out to South LA/North OC and need a roomate, holler. I need someone to help break my rent up.

You will likely have to do what I did and take a position that not bad by any stretch, does compromise on the $$$ part.

Can confirm, most pleb jobs ain’t making more money than they would elsewhere. I’m a Midwest transplant. ;(

I debated putting it under both.

Pros and Cons, as always.
