I bought vol. 1 of Nowhere Men on a whim because it's super cheap on Amazon, and it was fantastic. Easily one of the best comics of the year. I don't know why no one else is talking about it!

He's got an entire YouTube channel full of videos of him dressing up as sexy animals. You know you want it.

This is a little too HumanimalAlex for me

I'm more of a Meatspin man myself.

I thought they had already fully installed Fiber everywhere? I live in KCMO though. Not sure what the penetration is on the Kansas side.

I guess some other commenters have answered you already. $70/mo for just Internet or $120/mo with TV are reasonable prices for the value, but I'm pretty poor and the free non-gigabit Google internet is fast enough to play games online and stream video or anything else I do, so I'll take that. It's still faster and

I live in Kansas City, the test city for Google Fiber. I can't afford Fiber, but they already installed it in my apartment building so I get regular-speed Google internet for free B)

LANDOVER REDSKINS! If they plan on keeping the racist name, they can take the "Washington" out of it :)

I wish. None of our pro athletes actually live here in DC... they all live out in the Virginia suburbs. Sigh.

I really want to start a SNES collection but I know I won't land a copy of EarthBound for under $150 so it'll always be incomplete.

Because her height or how she puts it on aren't iconic parts of the character design. Stuff like the Varia Suit's giant shoulders, the arm cannon, and the morph ball are iconic parts of the character design.

I think the Metroid Prime trilogy hit a good balance of having a more "realistic" art style while retaining the essence of Metroid.

I guess design realism was left at the door when she has the ability to roll into a ball.

Well, the Varia Suit is her most iconic look, but in most Metroid games she starts off with her ball-less Power Suit

My gut reaction: looks like a football player in space. This art is well-designed but Metroid doesn't need the popular grimdark gritty realism, or that mech (is the mech meant to be a design for Metroid or just a random unrelated piece of art?).

I'm dying for a new Metroid too, but I'll take quality over quantity. We could have the other end of the spectrum: an annual franchise. METROID III: MODERN SPACEWAR II nothx

It wouldn't be Samus if her arm cannon didn't cover her arm. If Nintendo revealed a weapon like you're describing, tons of Metroid fans would throw a hissy fit. Myself included.

I always assumed the big shoulder balls are where her Morph Ball comes from!
