I’m hopeful that level 4 & 5 cars become the norm. Traffic will be reduced significantly and infrastructure spending will become simplified when roads are being used more efficiently. Parking becomes simplified; your car will park itself and there could be a few centralized parking location in a city center vs lots

The F-Pace is better than the Macan IMO... The F-pace has more room all around, has a better warranty, includes 5 years of maintenance, can tow a decent amount and has 90% of the driving dynamics of a Macan. Oh yeah and with similar equipment is significantly cheaper.

I used to be that way, but I’ve gotten over it (the world is full of assholes that don’t respect other people’s property, and nothing is going to change that).

It’s sad but true... Also a white male in Texas I did rack up quite a few tickets in my early 20's, but I think that was the typical kid in some type of loud/fast car that is an instant target. Now and I’m older and drive less obnoxious cars, I haven’t had issues. Also, I don’t know if it’s a factor, but since I got

I surprised it still has the retracting door handles, people were thinking that would be something that would get axed over cost.

It’s DSG... From memory, the only “regular” auto transmission used in the audi lineup is the 8 speed ZF unit.

Having driven all over Europe I think the roundabout system works so much better than the typical 4 way stop / light in most cases...

I heard Chevy won a JD Power award for the most awarded commercial featuring a listing awarded vehicles awarded by JD Power.

This... There is no possible way to develop a level 4 or 5 car without them being in the real world gathering data. It would be cost prohibitive for manufacturers to have employed drivers manning test mules, so selling them is the only real option. The hope is that more manufacturers join forces to share data to help

These things are being created is because 90% of drivers out there are not paying attention to driving no matter what safety features they have. Adding the tech does create some false sense of safety which can promote distracted driving, but I would say these safety systems are doing more good than harm. The fact that

The interior seems much more cohesive...

Counter point, outside of the fuel pump/tank recall, my 2015 GTI has been solid. It’s also been tuned for 28k miles.

Why would you spend $40K on a lifted hatchback with an identity crisis and no practicality... Where is that article about discounted Golf Rs???

6 hours is nuts. The last new car we bought, I told them I had to be back at work in 1.5 hours so they had one hour to get it done. Negotiated the price, went for a quick test drive, and they had the paperwork ready when I got back.

“Still, Honda said that all Si Civics will supposedly come exclusively in a manual.”. Except in America where we will get a CVT, because performance...

There is a difference between having a vehicle with systems designed to force the driver to be actively participating vs. just having a warning label saying you are still responsible for driving the vehicle and being aware. Owners keep trying to use these systems beyond their design envelope, and at least Tesla,

You weren’t forced into oncoming traffic, you tried to pass when it wasn’t safe... I’m a car guy and cyclist, and I defer to the person on the bike. At the end of the day, the car will always win in an accident. In your situation, how much time would it have cost you to wait till it was safe to pass, 30 seconds, maybe

$34/class @ 3 classes/week pays for a very nice road bike, shoes, helmet, trainer (so you can ride indoors, in your climate controlled home, listening to your own playlist, on a bike actually fits properly)... That said, I don’t judge anyone that is out there trying to be healthy, just not my cup of tea. (Don’t judge

Hahaha, I was going to post the same thing... Seeing comments about him being down to earth and humble were the polar opposite from most of the CJ interviews/clips from his past. Maybe he is older and wiser now??

Is it just me or does that actually seem cheap. Tesla model S 90D = $90k but this thing has nearly 4x the battery capacity, 3x the motors, a gas turbine, and all the other cost of a class 8 truck.
