That makes sense that that would be his final costume, I was expecting it to be his Marth form.

Drawing on the screen changes what weapon you're using, but you can do the exact same thing with the right stick. That'll probably be especially easier if you're a lefty, because the left stick (as you would expect) controls movement.

Finished TMS this week as well, and agree. The main story is nothing to write home about (it's not bad, either), but it's the characters and their side stories that make it all so compelling. I do like how Itsuki's role in the whole thing is to be the glue that holds the team together. Every other member of the cast

It's definitely a game that takes actual effort to figure out. Someone (I believe it was Kamiya) even said that the first playthrough of the game is more a tutorial for your second playthrough. It definitely can be hard to figure out where to go sometimes, though, mainly thanks to the fixed-camera setting. But, in the

Yeah, it's definitely not as good as the first one. But I'm also pretty deep in it already and have been at least enjoying it for what it is. Exploring the vast world is at least cool, and I like having a giant mech.

What am I playing this weekend? Honestly, I'm not entirely sure. Okay, there will definitely be some Fire Emblem Heroes, since that's at least been my mobile devotion. I rolled a five-star Effie the other day, and also got Cherche (my #1 Fire Emblem waifu) on the same roll. If people want to be Fire Emblem friends, my

Huge Wonderful 101 fan here, so glad to hear that you're playing it. Depending on how much you game in general, I might recommend dropping the stylus and using the right stick to form the shapes. It's a bit trickier to master drawing the shapes, but I think it's easier than switching to the stylus. The

I know a town in Indiana that disagrees…

OC Remix's Balance and Ruin album, which covered every song in FFVI, is pretty incredible. The two best covers are also arguably covering the best two songs in the game: the rocking and bizarre cover of Dancing Mad https://www.youtube.com/wat…, and the Jake Kaufman-scored, Queen-inspired take on the entire Opera. https

Gimme a Baten Kaitos successor. I think most of the staff is still employed at Monolith, and the IP still belongs to Namco and Nintendo, but at this point Kickstarter still seems like the only way it'll live on.

The other thing is that it doesn't seem to hard to retry a stage. Also, stages are so small that I can't see a person having wasted much time playing it.

I'm going to have to dive into the older Fire Emblems at some point. The only ones I've played all the way through are Awakening and Birthright. I'm near the end of Conquest, but that's on a bit of a hold due to my 3DS being broken at the moment. The debate is to go for Shadow Dragon or Fire Emblem (the GBA original).

The camp levels in those games is off the chart, although I think that got in their way a bit. Red Alert 3 went full ham with the goofiness, but it seemed like they didn't make nearly as good an actual game with it. But Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge are pinnacles of fun cheese and strategy.

I'm curious to see how much Fire Emblem holds you back from playing. In my mind, free-to-play works best whenever you have full freedom to not pay a cent and play as you will. The worst design of F2P is the "pay-to-continue" model, which takes full advantage of people psychologically. Got so close to beating a level

It's funny, I've never bothered to look up how to save Cid, but I've never bothered to on my playthroughs, just because I think his death is an appropriate scene. It feels more fitting to the narrative.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I imagine that Tokyo Mirage Sessions is a perfect game to play to help ease your mind; it definitely has a good feel of camaraderie, while there's also a lot of melancholy. Also, Double Dragon 4 and beer sounds like a way to honor someone that I'm sure he'd appreciate.

Congrats on the A-! Hopefully your wife doesn't take your efforts that seriously, though…mine, if anything, made many comments about how only a crazy person keeps trying until they get S. But, she knew what she was getting into, and, more importantly, my quest for S got her to try it out again. She soon discovered

Yeah, the fact that they get to move as soon as they hit the field is frustrating. It's fine in missions where they give warning of it through dialogue (the one where you get Cordelia does this, I believe…she shows up and says troops are following behind), but sometimes it's really stupid. Fortunately Fates fixed this.

Matt and I seem to be on the same page for the weekend: Fire Emblem Heroes and hoping the Patriots crumble and fall (while not necessarily expecting it to happen). I only just started Fire Emblem after getting home from work. I rolled Frederick, Draug, and Corrin. That's about all I've done, though. I'm also still

I think one of the biggest (and fortunately uplifting) things that makes our real world different from not just FFVII, but in fact most fiction, is that we're seeing a much more active resistance from the get-go. Shinra's slow takeover, where they established themselves as a power company and then pretty much said
