I don't know that you missed out; the latest WAYPTW thread appears to be the one from last week, and there also wasn't a Keyboard Geniuses then, so I'm betting that this is basically it.

I was actually just thinking about these games last night, I haven't played them in so long. II was better than III, which is still way better than I. The first just had too many messy platforming sections. It's also sad that the game starts off with the epic Hydra fight that many cite as one of the best boss fights…
I take it in stride, just because I've been a League of Legends player for a while and it worked on similar logic. Constantly trying to establish a greater lore, with relationships between characters, all of which is constantly betrayed by the actual games. Garen and Darius, leaders of Demacia and Noxus, two sides at…
There won't be too much gaming for me, since my work schedule is a little more busy for the Christmas weekend. But I am still making progress in Pokemon Sun, have played some Bayonetta 2, just got back to Tokyo Mirage Sessions, and will, of course, be getting in some Splatoon.
Yeah, Planet Robobot ranks on my list somewhere. I like that the mech suit actually had some real gameplay to it as well. The recent main Kirby games (Return to Dreamland, Triple Deluxe) featured similar gimmicks, where you get a brief thing that powers you up. But those were ultimately more power trips, where there…
Yah, Virt's work is always incredible. Shovel Knight and Mighty Switch Force's soundtracks are incredible, Shantae's themes are always catchy, and even the goofy Big Bad Bosses album that he did with a bunch of prominent gamer YouTubers has tunes that'll get stuck in your head.
It's tough to pick this, just because I was pretty on top of getting games as they came out over the past few years, and then I didn't exactly have much time for backlog. But I'd have to go with Crypt of the Necrodancer. I'm normally not a roguelike fan, have never really been able to find one that appealed to me, but…
I posted a few of my favorites over on the first part http://disq.us/p/1eo5mh3 but also had another sort of set for here.
I haven't checked out Overcooked, just because, as someone who works back-of-house, I fear it would be too real…and…yeah, this description sounds just too real.
I liked Star Fox Zero because it was a unique, if flawed, experience. I know it was one that didn't get a lot of love, and it never was going to, and I'm not even arguing that it deserved it…but dang if it didn't satisfy the repeat-run itch that I get. Dying multiple times to Copperhead Chaos, then coming back after a…
Also, though I haven't played Downwell yet, having buttons/a controller seems like it would be nice. The weird thing is that the vertical look of the game clearly means that a phone screen is optimal, despite lacking buttons.
I would definitely be down for us all trying to Splatoon together again, and Discord would make it pretty easy!
Yeah, that's why I'm probably going with the PC version. Can set it up on the TV and play with my wife.
Yeah, definitely one of those soundtracks that is fitting when playing the game, but I ain't exactly hunting down tracks on YouTube after I'm done. I do like some of the boss fight music, though. The final boss themes are actually pretty darn good.
I personally love Paper Mario just for its simplicity. There's a special place in my heart for it since it was the first single-player game that my wife played through and completed. Also, I'm a fan of how it is the standard Mario story, but basically turned up to 11. I mean, it starts with Bowser actually beating…
Yeah, I can see referring to Mario Run as the first Nintendo mobile game, just because there isn't much of a "game" aspect to Miitomo.
I'm gonna be playing the Android owner game of tapping on my phone and wishing I was playing Mario on it. The phone at least will be getting some use, since I've gotten into Miitomo a bunch, and Pokemon GO just added more creatures! Only through egg drops…which require walking…and it's 10 degrees outside…yay…. I'm…
I'm a little jealous of my wife, since she can actually play it on her phone. As an Android user, I'm left in the dust. Oh well, if I start dying to play, I'll just steal her phone for a bit.
Might be different, though, since My Nintendo did just add Kids Accounts. Not sure how exactly they work, but it might be something.
I was a clarinet main for a while, but only because they didn't offer oboe up in the early grades. I eventually started playing the oboe, but I still had to play the clarinet for marching band (no double-reeds in the outdoors). Eventually I switched to saxophone for marching band, since its key positions are actually…
