When you say Xenoblade, we talking the actual first or X? I feel like stuff had happened pretty quickly in the first one, is why I ask.

I feel like Bravely Default has been discussed a lot here, but I'm all for touching on it again. It's a game that felt satisfying as the "return to form" that it was touted as, but as a standalone game felt disappointing in some regards. Its combat, leveling, and skill systems were all absolutely brilliant. Brisk

Minesweeper before Solitaire.

I think it has to do with picking things based a lot off of legacy. The game that started the long standing series and, arguably, saved the JRPG is a big deal in that regard. They also have the original Civilization up for entry, despite the fact that it's topped by just about every entry that comes after it.

It always has to be considered with Aquaman how many crises he has prevented just by existing. I mean, let's say Lex Luthor wants to build a new evil base/robot factory/doomsday device/whatever, and he says "I'll build it underwater so Superman can't find it as easily!" but then he remembers "Oh wait, he has that

What if I'm someone who wants to fanboy for both sides but DC's movie department hasn't exactly been giving me much to fanboy over?

Uh-oh. Is Batman crying?

I'll actually go with the first Pikmin game. While you are almost constantly surrounded by a bunch of the adorable, titular creatures, they don't feel like true company. They feel more like listening to the radio on a late night, solo car drive; they comfort you and help you feel not quite so alone. But, stepping

Prime 3 definitely feels very different due to being populated, but I feel like it at least had its own unique feeling as a result. If anything, as much as it's my favorite, I'd have to give the second Prime the true benefit of the doubt when it comes to isolation, since the whole world is unpopulated…except there's

Not getting it, just because I've heard that it runs absolutely terribly on the regular 3DS, and I'm not getting a New3DS just to play it. I will, however, be buying the character pack for the Wii U version once that releases this year. I'll also inevitably get all the DLC characters, whoever they may be (betting

I highly recommend getting just the regular Hyrule Warriors. Easily one of my favorite games on the system. And then there's so much more to add on if you find you like it, including all the characters from Legends eventually releasing on the console.

I got satisfied with Badge Arcade once I got all the Pikmin-themed ones that launch software, so now my menu has a bunch of Pikmin toting around everything. Scrolling off to the side does have a pretty cool Splatoon scene, though.

Triple Deluxe and Return to Dreamland are arguably the best Kirby's out there, but I would also say that you only really need to play one of them. Triple Deluxe is probably better as a whole, but dang is the final fight of Return to Dreamland just perfection.

Land 2 is actually pretty good, but still weaker compared to console Marios. Land is…it's interesting. We played the crap out of it when we first got a GameBoy, and I played it a bit when I found our old copy. I wouldn't call it bad, but there is something a little off about it. And not just the world.

The best is actual events where you know there'll be lots of fellow Street Passers. Cons gave me a bunch (from multiple states, too, which really helped my map), and then when I went to the Pokemon concert…oh my. The little light just would not stop blinking.

HAhaha, "digging" into this one! You just escaped from jail as Wolf Link!

That was how I started the game. The first thing you do when you hit the ship (so besides the combat tutorial) is scan for the Federation logo. I spent 5 minutes doing it. It only killed the momentum…a little…

Minish Cap is really good, much better than I was expecting. I wanted to get all the kinstones when I played it, but eventually got tired of trying to find them all and just beat the game.

This week I started getting seriously back into Splatoon. I finally bought one of the Inkbrush weapons and started using it a bit. It's still not quite my thing, but it does work well when certain levels are on rotation. I'm also still going through Twilight Princess. I'm currently heading off to get the Master Sword.

Very well written piece on Twilight Princess. While I'm in the camp that didn't really like most of the game, I can also see what people appreciate in it. It also does have some of the absolute best dungeons in the Zelda series. I think that it's a combination of the graphics and philosophy of the dungeon design from
