@Slinkytech: Apple's is still in production, waiting to be approved by the FCC.

Like I said before, I imagine Apple was planning on doing it over 3G and wifi, and AT&T wouldn't let them, so they placed the new data plans out so people will stay off there network.

It needs more of a home... it seems like you are inside a badly designed application, rather than visiting the whole OS. I will admit I think it looks ok, but function wise, I don't like the way the options for e-mail, settings, web etc are displayed.

Now we should avoid the speed category, we will just embarrass the United States again.

Fugly... Amazing specs but ugly.

Can gizmodo not count? Its 799.99

@WoodyHD: could you please link me to a comparable monitor, with a similar resolution, web cam, mic, and a fair set of speakers 49 watts and a USB hub all for 400 dollars. I would love to have one.

@dr01d: Just a little FYI, Gizmodo is a group of Apple fanbois. Not when it comes to the iPhone, but macs they do love Apple.

@xd.Balls: Like I said, I don't think theres much logic behind it, we will find out sooner or later why.

@xd.Balls: calm down now, its only a montior. But why is it stupid? I was thinking and I think it has something to do with making it compatible with older macs, who's graphics cards don't support 1600P. But that doesn't really make much since, Idk, it is sort of a random number.

its funny how we knew exactly what was being released yesterday...

I am amazed at the price, I imagine this will sell to all sorts of people.

@Logandj: Wow thats not too bad of ship times...

@bhukworm: Haha 899.99 was referring to US dollar...

@Nitesh Singh: I don't think were that advanced, but definitely closer to the 2K. If Apple can put such a high res screen in a phone, 3K resolution in 30" would be "*simple*" Possibly .

@Nitesh Singh: the 24" needs to be 2550 by 1600 for 899.99 that would sell like crazy. The 27" number needs to get thrown away and go 30" and have a even better resolution with the new look.

@The Lab: No it will never stop next year the title of the article will state
