There’s one big difference between what Kotaku does and what these devs are doing. When I’m on Kotaku, I can run ad and script blockers to stop that shit. The website *has* to, by law, tell you that they’re tracking your cookies and collecting data on you. I can run ad/script blockers to stop that shit. If i browse

First, Kotaku only has control so far as it’s website. Even if they wanted to track your activities on other pages, most browsers default to blocking tracking cookies that collect information from non-native domains. Even if you have a browser that doesn’t , there is a bevy of add-ons that do this for you.

Why is this impressive when for years now we’ve had games with

For Serious Sam, yes.

This is why i shake my head at those who say streamers “have no real job” or “have it easy.” Streaming can be, and usually is, incredibly mentally and emotionally draining. In most cases, say goodbye to your social life, any hobbies outside of it, and physical health. You stream for 8-10 hours a day, and there’s a

Activision needs From more than From needs Activision. From could have just as easily sold this title to Sony or Namco. So I’d assume they got what they wanted out of the deal, which I would think is freedom to do their thing and control over the title.

The game came out in 2012. Necromancer DLC launched less than a year ago. Plus tiered rifts, set item dungeons, new difficulty levels, new areas post-RoS, Tristram, etc. You’re misrepresenting the game.

Who in their right mind would dismiss this as a port?

That’s been the case with Bethesda games since the i-pooped-my-pants running animation of Morrowind.

The salt of people not getting a game they want that is catered exactly to them is dehydrating at this point

I’m betting on both this and next generation so they can rack up the sales. They’re not dumb, they know what they’re doing.

People have been trying to mod Bethesda games to have co-op for years. This is definitely something people want.

Also, Todd Howard comes across as a huge control freak to me. Something about his tone.

Probably right at the end of the PS4/XB1 life, if for no other reason than to milk the eventual re-release on next gen consoles as a “high Rez special edition”.

Dude look at the reaction from the player base. You can’t say this is without risk. Actually, it even more risk. The survival genre is commonly seen as the “lowly” and “overused” genre from many, and Fallout is something people love and multiplayer mean poking the mod community and Beth risk losing their largest

It’s nothing like Destiny so no idea what in the world you’re talking about or why you’re going on a rant. Its like you didn’t even attempt to read the article.

There is a lot you can say about Fallout 76, but there’s one thing you definitely can’t call it.

Jason’s word has become gospel.

Was holding out hope for Bloodborne 2 but damn, this looks dope as hell. It’s like Nioh but with better art direction haha

RIP Nioh.
