This may not be the proper thread to say this but I'm really getting tired of people saying that the Fire's UI is so far from Android. Its nothing more than a custom launcher. Easily replaced, without root, by any other launcher that is available in the Amazon market. Get over it.

I'm looking forward to the 30 day trial with my Kindle Fire. As a Netflix and Hulu+ subscriber though I don't know that I will continue this based alone on the video content. Add in books...eh, I don't read alot, plus the library connect is pretty awesome. I'll have to give serious consideration about the shipping

Got my Fire rooted on the first try with SuperOneClick. Just not sure what the point is now without Clockworkmod ready.

Holy crap! I never knew about that. I have been hemming and hawing over and Instant account for a long time. My report shows that I spent $143.00 on shipping. Now its just a no brainer! Thanks for the reality check.

I love that the featured thread has nothing to do with the actual article. #Amused

An energy saving computer doing research into saving energy...Brilliant.

Must be a slow day for tech.

I had to turn up the brightness and mess with my contrast to see the home button is also on the bottom. Maybe rich guy got a modded iPhone.

Obviously there is torque on the sticks. Whatever they did at the beginning released the potential energy of the strand causing it all to pop. Its all in the way the sticks are layered.

Obviously, you do not operate a small business. Its ever man for himself out here. There is no unity; Unless the NFIB steps in. The plain and simple fact is that no small business wants to bring lawyers around. Lawyers basically have a right to steal too. Its just cheaper to settle for half the amount and hope all you

"And what do we say?"

Wait. He broke one last month and this month is trying to get her to eat one? I call bullshit. Apple doesn't return phones that fast.

I've considered using the 4G tether on my Thunderbolt instead of my cable. The dry runs I have done worked well. Obviously the phone has to stay plugged in and in the vicinity...so I have to be there too, which is a negative. I'm really waiting to see how Verizon reacts to rooted tetherers before I commit to anything.

....And firefighters and paramedics definitely have as much training and education as astronauts. BTW, I'm an ex-medic. True we don't get paid crap...but its a lot easier to be a medic than an astronaut.

Doubtful...its was probably a know-it-all Congressman thinking bottom line only...

There is good news though Wifi...water is cheaper than you thought!

I don't know Jesus. I think this would be handy at the tailgate. One tool to lug around instead of three. Of course $30 is ridiculous. I'll get the "As seen on Tv" knock off for $7.99 at Target.

Google Voice = Free texts. That is all.

That's all fine until you get into a friendly fire situation, then you are down two tanks instead of one....at least in the case of CROWS
