Here's hoping you're better at your new line of work than you were at being a spokesman, because you are clearly pretty terrible at this. It's not a good idea to just put obvious lie after obvious lie in writing where everyone and their grandmother can immediately fact check it and the bullshit is preserved in

"We had a group of Native Americans in a hall with a captive white audience," Yancey tells me. "You don't know what that means because you're not Native American, but that's huge."

You are an ignorant coward on the wrong side of history. The world will be a better place without you in it. Now please fuck off back to whatever Stormfront rock you crawled out from under and die.

NARF - The esteemed Native American legal organization the Native Americans Rights Fund (NARF) sent Mark Yancey a cease and desist letter months ago I recall.

The issue is Redface and all the "Playing Indian" that goes on during games and the ugly stereotypes that opposing teams do. Also, Vikings are historical. Haven't existed for 1,000 years and the "Fighting Irish" are mascotting THEMSELVES. Notre Dame is a historically IRISH-Amerian institution. That's not appropriation

Fighting irish, celtics, vikings, Redskins, Chiefs, Warriors, Braves and Scouts.

Oh god. Not this argument again. Yes, it matters who is using the mascot. It is perfectly OK for a school run by Irish Catholics to call themselves the Fighting Irish. It is perfectly OK for a state largely made up of people with Scandinavian heritage to call their NFL team the Vikings.

How embarrassing for you

Do you have any concept of what 100% means, dipshit?

I think the "meant to honor" bit is what gets me the most. The defense is almost always "but it's meant to honor the courage of Native Americans and their indomitable spirit! It's a compliment." That whole defense falls pretty flat when the group you're "honoring" hates the name and you refuse to change it.

So, Akron has announced that they're considering boycotting an upcoming lacrosse game against Lancaster over the mascot name issue. Akron's lacrosse team is almost entirely Natives, and they're pushing to take a stand. Weirdly, this doesn't seem to have stopped the "keep the name" faction from claiming that Natives

Can and should are two different things. When it's the government (a school) it's not as simple as "it's a free country herr derr."

I went there and am embarrassed by the amount of racism shown by other alums. I wanted it changed when I was a student and I want it changed now. Yeah, most of the people supporting it are racist community college dropouts and people older than 50. Unfortunately, it's a town full of racists.

Love to see him go to the rez. If you got any amount of native blood you can prove that easily. The only time white people would used theirs was when we got to go places lol.

My grandmother told me that the Amish were stealing things from her porch. No, you don't always believe what your grandmother says.

Wait, a half black half japanese dude is claiming to be a Native American?

"All of his best friends are Native Americans," Quigley says.

He should have a PowWow with Elizabeth Warren.
