You go off on a different subject. I'm not addressing how white people perceive me. I don't care. But to address what you're saying, that is true, how "educate" a black person is, does not have any effect on how the power structure perceives me. So with that thinking, when I say "black people need to do better",

Nope, you're severely lost and brainwashed. I can't fathom that you think "stop killing each other" = respectability politics. That should be a fairly simple concept that there's no benefit in this. But when you're brainwashed, you can believe anything.

And what they deemed best is shipping good jobs overseas, not paying most people a minimum wage, and working the American public to the max to where we're damn near zombies.

So here's the problem. Y'all think that because some people are ashamed of how we're being portrayed, it's somehow cowering to white people. That's a lie. And that's how they tricked some y'all. To think that because some black folks say to "stop with the bs", you're saying that you care about what white people

He at it again, and it's even worse smh

That what makes this show great. Great laughs, but you can divulge in deeper meanings of the show, and enjoy that also.

I stated earlier, I think this may be divulging into animalistic behaviors due to the new world they're in. Todd was oblivious, because he was just the new guy, and had no idea Tandy was feeling like he's coming onto his turf. And probably never was a threat to any man in the old world. I don't know if it's more of

My thoughts exactly.

Very true. Kinda like Tony Soprano. Had no redeeming qualities, but people still people rooted for him.

Todd's appeal to Melissa was that he was not Phil

I can see new Phil and Todd having a fight to the death, both being killed and Tandy once again being the last man on earth.

I don't, but I do, just to see if the show will go there. Boris K. has been a great addition though.

Lmfao that's perfect!

My thoughts exactly.

Exactly. She's the most rational in the group. Many don't like her, but I think Melissa is great because of the points you make.

Loved this episode. You know its gonna go dark. I'm anticipating the plotting of killing Phil, because it will be great TV. I will hate to see new Phil go. Boris K. has been a great addition to the show.

well said.

So agree with Orange. Gave it a couple episodes, and couldn't do it anymore. Part of the turnoff is that the most annoying character is the lead. Almost like they felt they need white blonde female lead to sell the show, when it could of been just fine without her.

Glad you got back to it. Such a great show. Close is amazing.

Don't feel bad. Waste of your time. I will never recommend it to anyone. While the journey is quite entertaining, I don't want to be held responsible for the eventual let down.
