Totalbiscuit?

That’s literally what patronizing is you dense fuck.

Do you even know what patronizing means?

So, you’re saying you can’t like someone and still be patronizing. The thread went like this: Price talked about some of the challenges about writing dialogue for MMO PCs. Deroir responded saying, paraphrased, “Hey, maybe making more dialogue options will solve your problems?” and that doesn’t seem patronizing to you?

What do you do for a living?

I’m not following, are you saying he couldn’t be patronizing because he’s effeminate?

Fine, we can call it patronizing then. It’s still rude as fuck.

Yeah, seems reasonable to me. To answer your question, if she were a man and this happened it would’ve still been mansplaining, I mean men don’t just do that to women. If you prefer, we can just call it patronizing.

Look up “mansplaining” sometime. The initial commenter may not have been conscious of what he was doing, but his comment really was pretty patronizing.

She didn’t call it sexism, she was saying she was being mansplained to (she was), and that tweet about totalbiscuit is pretty irrelevant, and really not the worst thing that was said about him.

You’re arguing that the person can do it because the game doesn’t limit him from it. I never said otherwise, in fact I think he’s well within his right.

That’s 100% besides the point?

Go to ANY roleplaying server worth its salt, such as on WoW or Minecraft: I can GUARANTEE they won’t take “playing an evil character” as an excuse for griefing or PKing. This guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

Yeah, the blame game- you pointed at this “kind” of journalism as if it means anything in this context. You’re just pointing fingers at the website when the misinformation problem is bigger than that. It’s not even media in general, when a lot of people seem to overlap between gamergate and alt right, whether you like

“this kind of journalism” didn’t say one thing about the alt-right, that was me. And whether they’re alt-right or not, gamergaters share the same sort of anti-media, anti-lgbtq, anti-feminism, and anti-left sentiments as the alt-right, so I found it fair to group them together, but I’m open to being wrong there if

Fair enough. Doesn’t make my statement any less true though, the sort of people who this article is highlighting are the same type who would find it abhorrent when someone gets fired for tweeting the n-word.

Well, I mean, both sides are doing the same thing, so from an outside perspective it just looks like a bunch of dumb people with sticks screaming at each other. You can insult me all you want, it doesn’t make your argument hold any ground.

Anyone who wants to “stick it to the SJWs” is probably some spectrum of alt-right. In this case more on the Gamergater side of things. So while I’m obviously assuming, there’s evidence in the article, and it doesn’t take Sherlock levels of deduction to come up with my conclusion.

To dissect my own joke, I’m tired of the hypocrisy here. You can’t just complain about literal SJWs banding together to get fired people they don’t agree with, then go and do the same thing. If it’s not apparent by now just how much I detest these people, this is exactly what I’m talking about when I say these two

I know the Alt-Right is sick of hearing about incidents like this and I know they won’t stand for... What? The person people are complaining about is a woman? And she’s accused of being an SJW? Well she got what she deserved then.
