I dont mean now, I meant when it first came out and was being praised as the best bond film ever - then a few months later. For example: "Dana Stevens of The New York Times called the film the best of the James Bond series since The Spy Who Loved Me"

Ah AVTAK - surly the most 80's-est opening in the entire franchise (neon/lasers/day-glo make up)

Agreed - it starts out with Bond looking like he might go rouge again (like Licence to Kill) and escaping MI6 by stopping his heart but then that plot kind of fizzles out and its business as usual!

I remember the reviews constantly praising it and it made a ton of money (like pretty much any post-Goldeneye Bond) but I hated it as soon as I saw it at the cinema - to many self-references, god-awful invisible car and Jinx was really annoying - thank god she didn't get her own film!

Yes the Tunnel scene in "Wonka" is creepy but personally I always found the old creepy guy standing outside the factory alone at night (the one who recites a poem the Charlie about "no-one goes in or out") way scarier - the disturbing music and shadows make it a scene that could easily be from some kind of slasher film
