Bungie has made D2 Forsaken and the annual pass for the Hardcore Destiny fanbase. If youre not involved in the lore and the story that the game doesnt put in cutscenes then youre missing out. With Destiny 2 recently being free for both PC and PS4 (soon for Xbox?), buying Forsaken + Annual Pass is $60 for two years of content (base game + 6 expansions).

What they’re getting away from is the “cinematic” campaigns that come with every DLC. We’ll no longer (apparently) have these one-and-done missions like in the Osiris DLC. All of the missions will hopefully exist in spaces we can explore and will return to over the life of the content.

Yeah who wants to buy things that are fun to play when they buy video games when they can buy not fun historical accuracy instead?
