Yeah, I am exceptionally happy they killed him off in the pilot. Dude was, by far, the worst part of Legends of Yesterday/Today

Could be explained away by just making Martin the kind of guy who makes up bullshit excuses for his personal failings.
Which is just, like, the best
That, as someone above said, is a core aspect of the character. We accept that, in W13, HG used her brother as a front to avoid the sexism of her era while still writing (and sciencing!). This was a twist in the episode they introduced her at which point it was part of the suspension of disbelief.
" I find it hard to believe that the only people in Grotto’s life were the people that recently took him on as a legal client."
I've worked with a couple lawyers and, during like meetings/plannings etc they were more than happy to take feedback, plan, lines of argument, whatever. It's only if you try to challenge their expertise on the specifics of arcane legal rules that I've found them to get snippy about things
That's how PR works.
In "old" Jackie Chan movies, at least. Nobody is going to be fondly rewatching The Medallion anytime soon
Fucking everyone dies on this show… yeesh
HEY ZACK! "slight-of-hand plotting" should have an e in there, pal!
Is this the first time any of the main characters in this show have gotten off a clean win? I'm pretty sure that Monarch is the first, or one of the first, to not have a victory be undercut in some fashion
I guess we're just two different people, because this is the best episode since the pilot for me
Likely, the grammar is a dead giveaway
there are literally millions of things one could do to just incapacitate him.
So, season 1 arrow problems, basically?
And his introduction in the barbershop?
I'm kind of sad at the erudite part.
It means that the science doesn't matter and is more window dressing. Think Star Wars vs Star Trek. Or Either of those vs Asimov for hardcore scifi
He's half black, which tends to make people stay looking younger to our American sense of age
No mention of Heatwave's comment to Sarah?
"I never figured you for the eye's wide shut type" had me rolling
