Adding my grey “me, too.” Sen. Murray has some other, also very valid, reasons for opposing DeVos, but Sen. Murphy has been a very powerful voice for sensible gun laws in the wake of the tragedy that befell his district. He deserves more credit.

I would also think that the association with Trump has forever tarnished “The Apprentice,” regardless of the host.
I heard a radio clip of her CNN defense this morning. When pressed on what she’d say if one of her kids had imitated a disabled person the way Trump had, she refused to bring her kids into it. We can’t possibly expect to be able to judge our President by the same high standards we judge the behavior of our kids.

I can relate. I drove a ‘56 Bel-Air my junior and senior years — ‘87 and ‘88. There was one particular spot in the parking lot that wasn’t striped evenly, making it about 1.5 spots wide. I would gladly get to school early each day to make sure that remained “my” spot.
