Great!

Going Clear by Lawrence Wright, which is fascinating, horrifying, and has made me appreciate Philip Seymour Hoffman's performance in The Master even more than I already did.

My only exposure to Juno Reactor was his co-score with Don Davis for The Matrix Reloaded, when I was a lad of 13! Any recommendations on where else to start with him?

That bums me out about Russian Circles; sorry to hear it was a bad experience! I'm seeing them tonight.

Ugh, don't remind me!

Sounds like a cat poster.

None of the songs necessarily got to me that way, but I got the old misty eyes from the efficient way it shows *SPOILER I GUESS* how Anna and Elsa's parents die.

"I killed the CRAP out of him!"

Just politely capitalizing a pronoun for a deity!

I believe Christian Bale was Him in a thing?

BUT DO THEY SELL TEETH TOO HAR HAR HAR

See that you do!

Tycho - Montana
Radiohead - 15 Steps
M83 - The Highest Journey
Baroness - Little Things
Explosions in the Sky - Catastrophe and the Cure

One thing I really like about The Clone Wars that they seem to be using as a selling point for Rebels is the repurposing of Ralph McQuarrie and Joe Johnson concept art. Seeing stuff from old Making Of books actually show up in this series was just all sorts of geeky pleasure.

If you good people haven't yet, check out their last album, Wildlife. For fans of people shouting short stories at you!

Please do! Especially their latest record Memorial.

The first opener (Inter Arma) is alright, but having seen KEN Mode last year (at a show that kind of rubbed me the wrong way on the real chest-thumpy aggro side of metal fandom but ANYWAY), they're just samey competence and I couldn't wait for their set to end. And besides, they're not really who I would imagine

I don't know if it's necessarily my favorite Criterion film, but I catch myself staring at the Thin Red Line artwork quite a bit.

Will be seeing Russian Circles at the Triple Rock on the 26th, and I could not be more excited. But why did they have to drag KEN Mode along, why?!
