Yeah what all the whining and arguing fails to consider is that this is just a tool, that's all it is, and the idea that an AI system could actually replace an artist is coder brain rot at its worst.

Eh, of the first quarter of 2023 only Jedi here is a must-play on my end, have to admit. Hogwarts Legacy doesn’t look particularly interesting and it’s giving off enough smoke that I suspect it’ll be a dumpster fire when it arrives.

I disliked the boss fights; that the difficulty on those wasn’t well tuned was probably the most glaring sign of a rushed release. But overall it was a fun Souls-lite.

Let’s patch this into other games, especially ones with pompous dialogue.

Honestly, the first thing I do with a new AAA game on PC is immediately crank down the graphics settings, even if my laptop can easily handle them. I just don’t care enough to deal with it.

Honestly as much as I like the Switch and this game I don’t see them being two tastes that taste great together. Even if there weren’t graphics issues, it’s really designed for a larger screen.

To be fair, third-party games are dirt fucking cheap on Switch. It’s just the first party stuff Nintendo keeps at a high price. That said, I wish their stance on older games would soften a little, or that they’d package older games with newer releases.

The tradeoff being that every game, ever, is always going to be on sale at least once a year. Plus every storefront’s got a set of games that are always going to be cheap whenever there’s a sale.
