@spookyxelectric: That's impressive. I know both the Droid and iPhone 3G use Gorilla glass. Don't know what the iPhone 4G uses. I know of people who've dropped their Droids in parking lots, and they keep on tickin.

I think the bigger issue is the lack of ergonomics / safety that newer all touch interfaces are bringing us. More flat surfaces w/ lack of physical buttons/switches means more time spent looking at the controls & less time looking at the road. This will not end well.
