I think this was a foregone conclusion; I saw this coming over half a year ago. Diablo 3 did well on console, and Activision would have to be utterly tone-deaf to keep this as PC-only when its easily configurable to consoles.

One of Windows 8's own cool, hidden features was File History, which was essentially OS X's Time Machine for Windows.
