Tracked farm machinery tends to be joystick controlled or at least in my experience anyway which then means you don’t have any pedals, one joystick controls each side for forward/backward motion which in turns controls the turning direction.

How are you driving a tractor with only 2 pedals? You need a clutch, gas and 2 brake pedals.

If you really look around you can find images for the pro’s practice keyboards, they are often butchered to shit, literally every key that isn’t needed is removed. A lot of people also used to use DAS 4C keyboards the main thing to look for in a keyboard for RTS is that it’s mechanical.

High dpi mouse does not automatically make it a gaming mouse also not all high dpi mice are good. More than anything the more basic the setup the better, they don’t have gaming keyboards with fancy macro abilities or 10,000 keys, 99.9% of the mice are 2 button mice.
