Not a WoW movie, it’s a Warcraft movie. It’s more based on the first RTS game Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. It’s orcs coming to Azeroth not ocs already being firmly settled in Azeroth as they are in WoW.

I would disagree with it not being a good scene it works really well within the main kind of theme of the game, but with you not finishing it yet it’s really hard to go into any real detail about why it’s actually quite good.

when Wotlk came out it was 12 months before TBC was baked into the battle chest. When Cata came out it was 12 months until WOTLK was baked in. When MoP came out it was 12 months before Cata was baked in. With WOD, MoP got baked in just before it was released.

That’s the first time blizzard has done that tho, and that was really only done to try and get players back which they got but then lost again.
