Not to argue with your point - I've only read the first TPB so far - but do you mind using male pronouns when referring to Charlene?

The ruby slippers are more associated with the film, and Disney owns that film. Logo can barely afford to use a Madonna song that people have heard of, hence why they made a point about being inspired by the book.
The biggest laugh I got was Manila reading Shangela's awful Tina Turner in a talking head.
They haven't done that since season 4, to be fair. All the critiques have been moved to the runway.
The queens get told what some of the runway challenges are in advance and pack accordingly. Think of Animal Couture from S6 - Dela's fly costume, Courtney's angel wings, and Trinity's phoenix extravaganza were all made or commissioned ahead of time.
Shangela was the main one calling her out for stereotyping, and then a few episodes later she pulls out Laquifa the Postmodern Pimp-Ho. I'm glad she did that, but she had no grounds to accuse Manila of being insulting to other cultures.
It says a lot about Macbitch that Kandy Ho was one of the strongest performers in that group.
The makeover challenge might involve people with disabilities. Probably easier for WOW to put out casting notices for.
This could probably be a longshot, but there's a British queen appearing in Season 8, right? The Vivienne's from Liverpool, and she's RuPaul's UK Drag Ambassador. I'm not sure if she'd be competing, since the foreign queens like Bebe and Courtney had visas/citizenship before registering, but that's the only option I…
I live for Laila in that video! Clever how the red dress draws your attention away from the red wig she's wearing underneath the black. But the wig flip's too impractical to wear on the runway unless you know you're in the bottom two and can kill it in the lip sync.
Where does Peaches Christ fall in that community? I know she does a fair bit of work with Jinkx and Sharon, what with that Addams Family show she directed, but it feels narrow-minded to pigeonhole her as another retro queen who takes all her cues from the 1950s.
Yeah, Bianca's clearly the leader of the pack, both in her season and throughout the show's history - three wins, no low scores or LSFYLs, and probably one of the most commercially successful queens along with Willam and Shangela. Nobody else in the competition was on her level.
I've seen one of Kandy's performances in the Puerto Rico scene and she is definitely a fierce performer. But lipsyncs aren't enough. Coco could turn those out, and I'm convinced her win in the comedy roast was so Ru could justify keeping her around a little bit longer.
"Tyra, sweetie, we're gonna just get you to stand there and look pretty. Don't do anything, don't say anything."
Oh Lord, I hope not. Good luck getting juice from THAT shell.
Even before last night, Chad was considered one of the show's winners because of All-Stars. In the S5 finale, she appeared in the victory parade with Bebe, Tyra, Raja and Sharon.
I'd like to see Katya in a David Lynch production. I get the feeling they'd click.
Plus, there's more in Chad's arsenal than Cher. Even if she didn't look like the Dark Lady herself, Chad has serious comedy and beauty chops, and a hell of a work ethic. As soon as Coco was faced with something out of her wheelhouse, she'd get incredibly moody.
The reaction GIF folder on my desktop needed a sub-folder dedicated entirely to Bianca del Rio and Detox reaction GIFs.
It's probably because just appearing on Drag Race is enough to make you a superstar. Even a queen who made a bad impression can get a second wind by playing it smart. Phi Phi is the poster child for Reality Show Bitch, but her 365 Days of Drag showcases how talented and flexible she really is, and it's given her a…
