The issue isn’t that spending money is bad, the issue is “what do we get for that money?” Spending on healthcare, education, and infrastructure has proven, demonstrable benefits and a healthy return on investments. Spending on “let’s give rich folks some money and hope they’ll be nicer to us” has never worked out…
