I scrolled down to the "87 replies awaiting whatever" at the bottom, and didn't see this show once. Which kind of makes sense, I really don't think it's well known at all in the US, and I can't really say how much of a household name it is even in the UK, but: The League of Gentlemen.

The Sopranos.

Futurama — The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings.

While not as widely beloved as its sister show, I adored Black Books, and feel they did a nice job of bowing out (how much of that was by choice, I dunno).

This series knows how to end itself over and over and over again.

I am going to have to go with Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. It wrapped up that particular Terminator universe and time paradox nicely.

For me that would be Battlestar Galactica with its (more less) consistent plot arc prohibiting any new openings or sequels after the fourth season.

Great contained series with a satisfying ending:

We carry that weight.

(Apparently this can be done with the male members of the party too)

Excuse me as I dust off my Vita which has nothing to do with this game at all.

Did we learn nothing from the Hawkeye Initiative?

I wish I could click "recommend" on your post more than once.... maybe a hundred.

Ahh, how I miss classic Tomb Raider.

May I toss in two more?

If we're gonna have an X-Files episode, it's gotta be "Home" with the Peacock family.

The X-Files is really the undisputed champ of Monster of the Week programming. I don't think anybody did it better.

TNG episode "Skin of Evil",

Fringe: Does White Tulip count as MOTW? Peter Weller's character is a one-shot deal, but some of the themes tie into the mythology...
