Another good thing to do if it’s a local purchase is take someone with you who works in the Auto Industry. For instance, if you have a mate who works in the parts dept at Ford, take them along. You’ll be amazed at how the BS almost completely dries up when they realize someone ‘on the inside’ is standing before them.
Yo

That looks utterly fantastic! Make Mercedes’ latest look like a bit of a munter...

As if to prove the point that standard car will never go off road, spend most of their time in cities and the hardest thing they’ll ever encounter is a curb....

The kidney grilles need grilles. Other than that, this is immense!

It’s all the little things, like the numberplate, and the sticker on the door. You can watch these movies again and again and still pick up details you missed the first time around.

NP, and i would try and keep it just as well maintained. Because that looks like a keeper.

If this thread isn’t fully of ‘SuperVans’ and ‘F1 Espace’ images then this isn’t Jalopnik.

Yea it was originally a message board for TVR owners.

That much stuff would probably snap the Axel......
No? Ok, i’ll see myself out.

Pretty certain Les Edgar is an easily approachable bloke. An interview with him would be a good read.
Also, you could pitch Jalopnik as the long term tester of the first coule of these, you know, to see if they would work out here....

I am loving how positive everyone is being. It was a right shitshow on PistonHeads earlier, with people calling it all sorts of things.
Looks like America would be a good market for this, just going off the internet feedback alone.

I will take that Diablo over every single one of them. Truly crap to drive, but i don’t care. THAT was the car on my bedroom wall.

Yes! Yes, to the 80 and early 90's IMSA and Trans-Am. These are the sought of cars i want to race, see race, hear race. As much as i love all the Formula One, LMP1 etc.... These look good, sound good and you have to man-handle them around a track.

I like it, but i’ll take the standard Diablo in those pics instead.

The very fact you are considering this means it will be looked after as best you can, which is really all anyone (or the car) could ask for.

Good Feels.
I remember watching this live from the U.K (thanks MotorsTV) and thinking i’d just seen someone killed. Glad to hear he’s back at it.

Pro racer/Food Reviewer has to be the dream job right? I mean, this guy is living!

I am really digging that Pontiac!

Toe link (i think, rear wheel wouldn’t stay straight) broke on a friends S13. Put a ratchet strap through the wheel and a couple of us kept some pressure on it to keep it straight enough to drive onto a trailer.

What ever happened to three tone paint?
