The original comment “HDR has nothing to do with controlling your devices” is not wrong. Video signals and control signals are entirely different signals. Even when control signals are ran over the HDMI cable, the control signals run along a completely separate path along the cable.

I very much understand basic logic. In fact i also understand fuzzy logic (I am a documented engineer).

This article is not about a universal remote control. It is about a HDMI switch that uses HDMI CEC commands to control devices. IF AND ONLY IFF the connected device supports CEC commands.

HDR has nothing to do with Controlling your devices. This isn’t even a universal remote. This is a 4 input HDMI switch that uses CEC commands thru the HDMI protocol. So if you plug something in with an HDMI that doesn’t use CEC it will not be able to control it.

Yea as Slartibartfast mentioned how old are you? Once you hit 30 hangovers get increasingly bad. Drinking water with your beer definitly limits that.

yea but such is life in these crazy times. I am thinking about getting some pies and throwing them in a vat of scalding oil just to see what the fuss is about. I’m an old but growing up my parents would never let us eat Mickey D’s unless we were on a road trip.

Yea ... the only thing i can eat mayo on is a BLT, so if its ketchup + mayo I will probably pass. My favorite Fry sauce is 60% ketchup 40% brown mustard .... yea it doesnt make an appetizing color when mixed but hell yea does it taste good.
