It’s called a “Union”.

My hope is that this is just an end-run around the rules, that Musk is quietly starting a dealership company that is detached from Tesla, but that will only sell Teslas and have exclusive rights to the brand, there by blocking the traditional dealers from getting their dirty hands on things.

Solid parry by the guy with the baseball bat

You can’t do cardio and play games/text at the same time. If you can, you are A) not working hard enough or B) about to get hurt.

The only time I truly love cardio of any kind is when someone gets onto the machine next to me and now I get to race and outlast them.

Where can I buy a road with a corner in it for under $60k?

You are a journalist. FFS bring a real camera with you to a car show.

“Think of it this way, they’re not punishing people for driving a competition vehicle, they’re just rewarding those that buy the products they make.”

(Added random car pic so drawing below not at top)

Seriously. WTH? There have been a few Tesla fires, mostly due to accidents. I think one (1) Nissan Leaf has caught fire from unknown circumstances...

….Manziel partied with a fake wig

Antagonizer beat me to it, but is purely about dealer franchise agreements. It goes back to when Pontiac and Oldsmobile were still around. Those dealers wanted to sell trucks and the clientele were pretty similar to Chevy’s. If the dealer didn’t own a Chevy franchise, and someone else across town did, he wouldn’t be

It’s an artifact of dealership franchise agreements. When trucks took over the automotive landscape in the early-to-mid ‘80s, there were Buick/Pontiac/Oldsmobile dealers that wanted a slice of the truck pie but already had a full car lineup....so GM started handing out GMC franchises, guissed up the Silverado a bit

Definitely the announcement of the Tesla Model 3. I’m going to take a long lunch from work to watch the live stream. Assuming it’s anything like what I’m expecting, I’ll put my deposit down right away!

I’m looking forward to more carbon fiber integration in the car chassis. It amazes me that the stuff once reserved for supercars is now trickling down to regular cars.

I know your 95%/99% numbers were just reasonably random guesses but I think you might be under-estimating...

Don’t go thinking you’re unique in that respect!
