I think that "Stategery" is a great Risk analogue, and it's a universal app (plays natively on the iPhone and iPad).

Nuts, I was kind of looking forward to this. I thought it was a decent alternative to my laptop keyboard.
@rott: D'oh — sorry, I thought it was new. That'll teach me to post without catching up on Giz after coming home from vacation!
And there was an iPad update available today, too (3.2.1).
I love reading Kindle books on my iPad — it's a great form factor for reading. I wouldn't buy a unitasker ($1 to Alton Brown) like the Kindle, but I sure enjoy Amazon's book selection and the Kindle app gives me the best of all worlds.
What I want to know is: are there subtitles and/or captions with Hulu shows? There aren't with other video streaming (Netflix, Amazon, etc.), and, as someone with a hearing loss, that would be the Holy Grail for me.
But are there subtitles and/or closed captioning? No other media streaming seems to have that capability!
I pre-ordered online from AT&T's website at 12:30p EST on the 15th. However, my online order status shows that I ordered it on the 16th and that it's backordered. I'm assuming that means that AT&T has screwed me. Again.
Oh, very nice! I've got a household where 3 of us have Xbox Gold accounts. Paying $100 is a lot better than $150.
I like how Apple's disdain for AT&T is apparent in referring to them as "carrier partners".
@bigPixel: Pray...what is the AT&T back door?!?
This would have been a home run if it had a Blu-ray player. Too bad.
Does the new one also have a built-in Ethernet port? I ask, because the picture almost seems to suggest they replaced the Ethernet port with WiFi.
Here's a warning to those who might be considering upgrading to iOS 4 Gold Master: it requires the iTunes 9.2 Beta, which is only available on the Mac.
I use "over the ear" closed headphones (circumaural) to help watch movies on TV. I have a severe hearing loss, and the closed nature of my headphones (Sennheiser RS 140) helps to ensure a very consistent sound quality for me.
I bet I could never even get the circular components flush with the cube face, so that my usual sticker removal technique wouldn't work...
