Someone needs to explain to these people the principle of a "Power Vacuum".

The only shapes that need to be used in those situations are the arrows pointing to which direction you are cleared to turn, any lights giving forward traffic the clear would be full circles. So, you still don't need different shapes for red, yellow, or green.

I'd like to see you try to tell the difference of a 5 inch circle vs a 5 inch square when its raining at 300 feet in only 1/10 of a second. Because in reality, that's all you get.
