Here’s an idea, get your bag out of the overhead *before* landing and shove it under the seat in front of you — you can live without the extra leg room for 20 minutes of landing.

If we’re going to break the paradigm, let’s do it all the way. Put side-looking cameras on the side of the car and rear-looking cameras on the rear of the car. Heck, make the rear cameras wireless and pop-out so could just move a couple of them to the rear of whatever you are towing.
