That pilot bearing trick with the bread is pure genius!

Doing a clutch replacement w/o a transmission jack was quite possibly the worst repair I’ve ever had to do (and it caused my brother to tell me he’d never help on a repair again — and he’s held to that for 20 years!). Getting the transmission out with just a floor jack wasn’t bad, but we couldn’t get it lined back up

If they’d used more chains between the two “rims” it might have been pretty formidable in the snow.

Mustang, now with spectator-assisted braking”

That other pillar of Civil Engineering, sewers used to run above ground too until we grew tired of the smell, sight and mess of them.  Now they are underground.  Perhaps Elon Must is thinking too small -- lets put all urban roads underground with the sewers.

not to mention contracting with dodgy ad brokers and ending up with malware in their ads. when i read my physical local newspaper, it doesn’t have an ad trying to ransom me for bitcoins!!

I’ve pulled 13k (a forklift and trailer) in my F-150 --not up a nasty hill in Arizona, but it was no problem in Iowa.

You must have one hell of a camper as the F-150 has a payload of 3000+lbs and can tow 13,000+ when spec’d properly.

One of my friends’ wife did this. He was able to forgive her (honestly not sure I could). They had to move halfway across the country though because of the notoriety.

The original and the newest Ford GT’s are truly gorgeous.

Unless you are Koenigsegg, of course. ;)

The Supercharged T-Bird came out in ‘89, BTW.

If I was in super-grandma mode, I could exceed the EPA numbers in mine until I swapped out the original tires (which were clearly aimed at fuel economy) for ones with a more aggressive tread.  Under boost, it’s a Saturn V and it drinks fuel like one, though.

A 5L EcoBoost would be insane. The 3.5L delivers 365 to 647hp in its various forms and tunes. A 5L might be up to 925hp.  I’m not sure the world needs an F-150 with a sub-3sec 0 to 60 time.

Yes, admitting to 29 felonies on Youtube, always a great plan.

Is that a little wall on the console to keep your wife from looking at the speedo?

It’s President Hamberderler!

Perhaps, but the F-150 currently has payload ratings of up to just over 3000 lbs (and tow ratings of up to 13,200 lbs, which I have actually pulled with mine).

Not a bad job, working less than 2 seconds a day. ;)

$2 times 100-288 bombers, times the size of your family, plus all the costs associated with, you know, actually flying the things.
