At present, I agree. Not saying it isn’t already, but if I was Tesla (or whoever) making EVs my priority would be making batteries better, cheaper, and faster.

I’m no expert, but the numbers seem to bear out that flat rate is pushing a lot of people out and spooking a lot of people from starting a service tech career at all. Agreed, although I will say it’s sometimes nice when you’re the one onstage and someone gets good video of it you can laugh or whatever at later.

This. Fortunately I’m tall enough to mostly be over the heads of most of the drones holding up phones, but this irritates me too. I’m not 100% against people getting video if the band and venue don’t mind, but scooch to the side or something? Blocking other people who came for an experience is a dick move.

In theory, me too, though I still don’t quite trust autonomous vehicles yet, and probably won’t as long as there’s no means of override and driving in a normal fashion in case of emergency. Even if I never end up using them, I need a steering wheel and pedals and the ability to drive in a pinch.
