I'm a huge fan of Pzizz for my power naps:
Last fall I had a brainstorm and came up with the idea of a leftovers list. I'ts basically the same idea as the one listed here, but it's meant to keep track of leftovers. My wife and I have been using it ever since and it has helped a ton in reducing spoiled leftovers. It's amazing how sometimes the simplest ideas…
Be sure to check out Mike's second and third parts to this article. I've linked to them directly from the end of his introduction to the subject. (This makes me want to use my camera for something other than taking pictures of my cats...)
Ugh. I never had to worry about writer's block until I put myself into the position of publishing myself several times a day. Now sometimes it can be a real problem. Thanks for sharing this. I'm sure it will come in handy.
Good grief! Snarkiness abounds.
Count me in the corded drill camp. I used cordless drills for ten years. After my second one died, I bought a corded model and was SHOCKED at the power and versatility. Cordless drills just cannot compare.
I think the important concept to grasp here — and this is something I preach all the time at Get Rich Slowly — is that you should do what works for you.

So what form were the Lifehacker blog posts in before DT sucked them in? I think you write using a wiki. Is this where it drew the posts from? (Can I end every phrase with a preposition?) Or do you move finished posts from the wiki to a text editor or word processor? Or did you export them from your blogging tool to…
Here in Portland, Powell's has carried book darts for many, many years. My wife and I love them. We're in a book group, and book darts allow us to mark interesting passages without damaging the book. There are two problems, though.
I can't live without Magic Lantern, a quick-and-dirty jpeg browser. This has many, many uses, particularly for browsers and casual digital photographers. I don't like iPhoto, and sometimes Photoshop is overkill. Magic Lantern lets me search a director of images to find the one I want.
Photographing hummers can be a challenge, even with the proper cable release. Those little buggers move fast and they're very very tiny. Worse, they like to flit in and about the bushes and flowers, which make for very busy backdrops. Your number one weapon when hunting hummers is a tripod. No question. And luck.
One of the reasons I love to watch films at home on DVD is that I can sit with my laptop, googling and IMDBing films and actors and writers and directors.
This is excellent. It cleans up all sorts of search topics, especially for personal-finance related stuff, which will help me with my research! Great find.

I have absolutely used the Debt Snowball method. It worked great FOR ME. The important thing to realize is that different methods work best for different people. There's no question that paying off high-interest debts first saves the most money. But depending on how much you owe and your psychological make-up, this…
This is an brilliant post. I'm amazed at the variety of offerings here.
I don't like credit cards. That's my personal bias, though it's not without reason.
When we lived in a small, rural town, we had the Best Grocery Store ever. Somehow (I'm still not clear on this), everything was organized in a manner that made complete sense to us. We always knew where something would be, even if we'd never bought it before.
