Holy shit Toxic was perfect and I almost wish it was really the tune they used in the movie

“Why is Liam sleepwalking,” I asked early in the episode, so I appreciated that it was mainly so he could steal Kassidi’s keys and free Liam.”

Just to be clear, I am not expecting the show to respond to my criticism. I personally don’t think it’s absurd that the show’s writers could take an objective view of the season’s successes and failures heading into a finale and make adjustments accordingly. I certainly agree that there are barriers in place her could

If she was the kind of person who dumped her niece off on social services, she’d have done it immediately, not weeks later.

also, I think you should’ve given this episode an F. Ian’s story is weirdly non-committal. Is he off his meds? Why won’t they answer? It’s just annoying. Do you think Cameron is leaving the show? I thought there was going to be a twist, that Ian was being arrested for aiding and abetting Mickey.

yeah, there’s nothing to say except this season was sincerely terrible. It’s the writing, stupid. I wonder if the writers will realize how bad they screwed their show up. Myles, your review is awesome and covers every issue I had with the show this year. What’s sad, the first few episodes were promising, then just

I’d be down for one final season if they can make it a kick ass season. And Eddie didn’t want to take care of her niece. Her niece was a burden to her so her leaving to go to Cabo was no surprise to me.

I don’t for one minute believe that young Dylan (and Satchel Ronan for that matter) don’t believe the story they tell. Unfortunately it is just that - a story. Told to them so repeatedly (by a vindictive and duplicitous woman who proved that hell really does have no fury like a woman scorned) they now believe it as an

I was impressed how well the cast and Ferrell worked with each other and seemed to slide-in seamlessly and smooth from the start. It was clear Ferrell came with ideas/sketches while many hosts come with nothing and writing is started from day one around their perceived strengths. Except for the reality star piece

I laughed out loud more during this show than the rest of the season combined (a lot of comedy amuses me more than makes me laugh). Based on that alone I’d have given this episode a solid A.

It’s easy. Perkins grade exclusively based a checkmark list of shoehorned woke-ness featured in the ep. Last weeks ep was bumped 2 letter grades becauase one of the cast members wore a #metoo shirt.

I like this scene. I dislike the movie (like, a whole bunch). It’s not complicated.

I nominate Heidi Gardner as MVP of my heart. She’s got chops.

Comedy is subjective and that’s fine of course but these grades straight up don’t make sense to me. I feel like I’d have a better shot at predicting the grade for a given SNL episode if I just threw a dart at a grading curve. It’s sort of bizarre. This was one of the funniest SNL episodes I’ve seen in quite some time.

I was SO PROUD to see how Aja is no longer such a busted bitch. She has grown! She is fierce! She has a chin!

Listen, every conservative in this country saw millions of Muslims dancing in the streets of New Jersey after 9/11, and if you ask to see video proof, that just means you’re a secret Muslim, too. I don’t see why this is so hard to understand.

The thing that bothered me a bit was the message, namely that disabled/flawed people must either live alone, or face the reality they’ll have to marry a fish.

I saw an early release of it (which holy shit — I have never been in a test audience and that is sooooo cool!) and I was so moved! I also like how del Toro picks a color to be the cinematic theme of the story. The green hues were so beautiful. Cinematically, this film is a love letter for your eyes

I thought Aja would win that lip sync handily but Ben really played up the comedy. Plus the fact that she has the big fat ass and Aja is the skinny bitch in this scenario

I was legit surprised that Ben sent Morgan home. I really thought that all of that “I’m going to listen to judge’s feedback” blah blah was going somewhere. Ben is super savvy. I also thought Aja was walking away with the LSFYL at first, but Ben just kept giving us the funny. Maybe I’ve been reading the casting wrong
