I almost ripped my hair out. I thought they were redesigning the covers of the aSoIaF books again. I just bought all the hardcovers!!

As long as they don't all come out in November I'll be fine.

I've got a pretty epic game of Pokemon Scrabble on my fridge this week.

I never notice the food descriptions in these books. People talk about it so much.

Mmmm, Dawn of the Jedi. Tasty.

Haha, I was just about to #tip this. This is the epitome of an io9 movie.

Yeah, you're right. He does get things done, doesn't he?

Before I knew the casting I was picturing Tywin Lannister as Bill Nighy. But Mr. Dance is fantastic (and probably cheaper).

I didn't know that. Is he related to the Freys?

Now that I can compare Stannis to Renly the Stannis casting makes total sense. He's going to be a fantastic overly-righteous innefectual bastard.

They get the skinniest guy in the Hulk costume and the biggest dressed as Spiderman. Way to go.

Boba Fett's best friend is gay.

So it's like Catan: Cities & Knights, Citadels and Small World all mashed together with a nice shiny franchise on top. It sounds magnificent.

I am in awe of you for reading it in less than a day.

I'm not quite done, to quote Barry Zuckercorn, "it's very long". It's certainly isn't an amazing book. due to it's length I would never recommend it. It felt like the author researched a number of anecdotes and created a story where he could mention each of them. That's not to say the story wasn't interesting, and

On the upside, Bret Mckenzie winning an Oscar... eehh?

They're not super functional families.

And that's why I'm avoiding PVP until it settles down.

For a long time it was The Hobbit, because I pretended to read it in high-school, but I got distracted and never finished it.

These writers aren't derivative like a lot of the EU writers. They try to write about new things. And they especially won't be copying the movies, if anything they'll be focused more on the KOTOR period and making things jive with that.
