It won me over too. The plot description and the random pictures made it look like a joke. But that trailer, whew.

I hope the writers aren't afraid to kill people in the main cast. Zombies aren't scary when they're going up against series regulars.

Well that's fun! I'll see you there. I'll be the other guy.

Judging from the comments below it looks like I'll be the only one playing! Huzzah! It'll transform back into an RPG and I'll be able to choose usernames like Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett. Thanks everyone for ceding this game to me and me alone.

The flaw being that you can only do this once or twice in a place where people will remember you, like the office. A second after 93% of the people let you go they'll think about what you said and hate you for it. Someday there'll be a time when you have a good reason and people won't let you go.

They'll bring in someone new for 3. I think the writers just got really attached to the history of this time period.

Sometimes I think I can see a speech bubble over the heads of these straight, male, Caucasian writers that says "One thing at a time". Heh heh heh. It's a little bit funny, but mostly depressing.

I don't think it's challenging for writers to create strong gay characters, I think the problem is they either write ham-fisted romances for them or they chicken out and pretend they don't have a sex-life. So it turns into an asexual character who says he's gay.

I just want to draw attention to the fact that this poster isn't orange and blue. I have no problem with the orange and blue thing, but I doubt the usual complainers are going to mention anything so I though I should.

Mad Men, Psych and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. And Peter Dinklage guest starred on 30 Rock a while ago, so there's that.

Haha. I could swear it didn't say that... I'm not one of those people.

This show just bumped up almost all of my favourite TV shows to 2 degrees of separation.

Don't tell anyone, but I agree about her Mando stuff. She tried to fit a group of mercenaries and brutal warriors into a perfect shiny civilization. I think she was also pretty greedy with them. By writing them in her crazy style she guaranteed that no one else could write about them. There was no elbow room in her

Seconded.

The only reason why that trailer looked dark was because it was constantly fading to black. Everything looks depressing when it's cut between nothingness and overlaid with dramatic music and voice-overs.

That last piece about the teamups and stuff was BS. Anyone who looks closely at the Marvel movies knows that. But he's not wrong. Spiderman teaming up with other heroes is usually weird. (Same with Batman). He's got a great thing going in NY with all his fun lil' villains. There's no need to mess with it.

The description of the concept made me cringe. I hope they do a good job of setting up the story without forcing us to suspend our disbelief within the first few moments of the show.

Well, I hope the Hulk thing doesn't get past the pilot. It'll only muddle up the movies. And, frankly, the Hulk is rarely entertaining.

Wasn't there some nasty negotiations with the actors last time they ordered seasons? I guess it's good they avoided another skirmish.

Danger Danger. Karen Traviss is a great author, but I really hope this isn't a repeat of the Mandalorian incident. Giving her total freedom sounds great, but at some point when they're writing this next trilogy some game designer is going to make a decision to make the game better that will destroy something she
