This movie is completely nuts. My eyebrows raised questioningly for almost the whole trailer. But then after a while I really started to like seeing Sam Elliott in that wig. Strangely that was what made me want to watch the movie.

It's true. I find most comment threads on other sites are mostly ridiculous. Here I feel a need to be responsible for what I say. If I say something stupid people will call me out. I'm not on Kotaku a whole lot, but I know io9 is very good with their trollpatrol and moderating idiots.

The theme I see in Infinite (and Bioshock) is a kind of failed splendor. It aspired to be something way bigger than it could ever be, and these are the remains. It's a great backdrop to a game.

Marxist ideas don't exactly produce the most exciting environments. It might create some interesting rebellious ideas, but not necessarily a a fun place to set a dynamic game.

Poor Rashida. She's been type-casted into a corner. She gets on amazing projects but she's always playing the same character.
