Well, you will note that the pharaos did not appear to have even the concept of primogeniture, and the throne presumably went to the most formidable of their fairly sizable flocks of children. So anyone who was too messed up by inbreeding presumably got weeded out. 

The thing is, fucking with causality is a huge power the show should probably not have let out the bottle? If you have time powers, that tends to be what your show is about. I mean, it would be hilarious if the time bureau shows up and tells them to knock it off.

Ehh... They have enormous capabilities for violence. For example, Zari just demonstrated that she can kill anything that needs to breathe quite easily. And even immortal beings are mostly going to be at least somewhat vulnerable to just being spun in the air until they cry uncle. Heck, any of them can use the time…

Black Panther was portable because it was about the legacy of colonialism, and about Africa. This is a theme which resonates with Europeans at least as hard as it does with Americans. Possibly harder. Machete traveled well because it was about a migrant worker and blood and gore. Relateable.
