When they said Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will be open world, I'm wondering if they're talking more like a sandbox game, i.e. Gravity Rush and InFAMOUS, rather than classic Final Fantasy Games: Open over world with sub areas like towns and villages.

When they announced it as a PS3 exclusive, I believe they were referring specifically the Japanese market.

Ya know, I'm ok with XV going to Xbox One. It's not going to keep me from enjoying it any less on my PS4. Kingdom Hearts III, on the other hand, I would like to see that exclusive to Sony.

I kind of agree with you. I didn't know what to expect when I first played part 1 and so I was left feeling underwhelmed in much of the beginning. I never looked back since. I might pick this game up, not only to give Infinite a try, but also the original that's included with the PS3 copy.
