There’s a reason why this is happening after he’s no longer CEO. I assume that the desire to put himself in some degree of discretionary danger as part of turning his focus more to this company was a factor in his decision.

Amazon maintains that employees will continue to have the work-life flexibility they had before the pandemic

I would call it Italian ice even though it’s different than this type of dense, frozen brick with a syrupy bottom that I originally knew as Italian ice growing up:

Also, everyone knows the primary purpose of the wooden spoon is to flip over the chunk of frozen ice to to get the to never-as-frozen syrupy bottom before it melts into actual syrup.

“I never watched Mad Men”...but let me tell you all about it.

It’s sad that I’m delighted by any ruling that isn’t 6-3 along the usual lines.

Granted, there’s no disputing that Friends ruled the small screen in the 1990s

Don’t forget the microfiche at the library. The world was truly at one’s sliding glass holder!

Came here to say the same thing. She presumably saw the post to copy but seems to have skipped or disregarded the comments.

Even that won’t solve it. We’ll be told how it’s a fabricated reality as part of 39D chess and to “enjoy the show.” Everyone, including Biden and Gates, is apparently dead and being played by actors, except for those who aren’t actually dad, including JFK Jr., Prince, Michael Jackson. Unrelated rant: the YouTube age verification is so annoying. I don’t want to always have to click to YouTube and be logged in to watch shitty (pun intended) videos. It’s especially aggravating as one doesn’t even have to actually “confirm” one’s age anyway—they keep using that word as if it means something it doesn’t.

Did I miss the explanation for where Dylan was when his girlfriend said he was wasn’t at home later that night when she woke up? I knew it wasn’t him but that was a loose end for me. Or do we just assume that he was actually driving around or whatever his alibi was?

Somebody being Rob Parker. He is on the Mt. Rushmore of awful contemporary sports journalists and I didn’t even need to click to know what his shitty take was.

That’s exactly what Billy said.

It was. He says when/why he went to look in the shed and noticed it was gone and then when he went back and noticed it was returned. There are earlier comments that clarify in detail.

Agreed on Nicholson. I watch most every one of these types of shows—which are pretty much the same at this point (there’s probably 20 or so between the various UK/EU series)—and I love playing the game of guessing which character is actually going to be part of the twist(s) based on the actors. I went to Carl’s Jr. for the first, and likely last, time today. I got both the new sandwich and the waffle “sandwich”—which is a misnomer as it’s a small tender on a mini waffle. I know that fast food quality is always subject to vary by franchise and by visit but it was not great. The chicken waffle was bad. The
