I had long since abandonded Animation Domination/Fox by that point after ditching “TV” (cable) so I’d never heard of it until now but I am intrigued by the trailer. It’s on Hulu for now (until I presume it moves to D+) so I’ll give it a shot.

This is not necessarily my answer but something just made me think of Rubicon. That was 2010—right before Homeland, The Americans, and a slew of other intelligence/espionage shows this decade. Mad Men and Breaking Bad thrust AMC into this new position and I remember being bummed at the time (it was replaced two weeks

I’ve had Rectify on my list for a while (it’s fairly far down) but I love Baskets. Well, really, I love Christine.

Isn’t Biles bigger than the USAG? What happens if she and whomever aligns with her (I’m assuming most, if not all, of the current team) says to the USOPC that they will no longer compete at USAG events and therefore not qualify for the US Olympic team unless the USOPC recognizes a different governing body. I may be

I think that just means bathroom doors, not stalls, if that’s what you are thinking.

I assume it has an adjustable-height suspension that lowers to allow for the gate ramp to reach the ground at a lower angle. It’s doubtful they would show it bottoming out if not intentional (since the gate is down, this isn’t yet in driving state). In the images without payload, there are a wide range of lifts

Um, your microbiome “includes not only bacteria but fungi, parasites, and viruses.” Source: Harvard School of Public Health (and everything about nutrition and biology I’ve ever read and every other credible source it took me :10 to look up on Google in order to verify).

Anyone know where all the Planets are headed? Does BBC have a deal with another streamer?

Yeah, I replied about probiotics to someone else. I’m not suggesting that they aren’t valid as a treatment of some things for some people but they aren’t magic in a pill for most people.

It would if the family was or knows Italian Americans or has lived in the Northeast. “Italian Thanksgiving” is a real thing—maybe the best of things. What else are you supposed to eat for lunch while waiting for dinner?!

User name checks out. Good cranberry sauce is great and easy tp make (and even “bad” canned cranberry sauce has it’s own special appeal).

Mashed potatoes and gravy is cheating—in the best way. Lasagna was an inspired choice. I’d also add that Southern-style Thanksgiving presents so many options that mac & cheese could be 1-4 by default.

This is true. I’m also aware that there is a group of people who don’t have celiac but appear to have some actual sensitivity to gluten for as yet unknown reasons. More options is great for those who actually need them.

I don’t doubt that’s how they started since he dictated most every other performance-compromising design decision in the name of aesthetics but I’m sure they’re not going to voluntarily back off of those sweet, sweet margin dollars. Either way, I’m happy his reign is (sort of) over.

I think most people just like the looks and they became a design fad and a commodity that every chain home store started carrying. However, this is on the first page of Google results for “salt lamps” so the negative ion thing has also driven the fad:

This is on the first page of Google results for “salt lamps.

But that would mean fewer sales of dramatically overpriced accessories with 90%+ margin.

Hoo boy, yes. Negative ions cure everything, apparently.

Yeah. Certainly, people were doing things like the Master Cleanse before this decade but there wasn’t an entire industry marketing “detoxing” products and diets like to the extent that there is now. The proliferation of juicing companies and bottled “detoxing” beverages was staggering. Then there’s the Whole30 et al.

I agree but it’s like of the gluten-free situation where there is an underlying validity that applies to some people but way more people think they are benefiting from products sold to them as cures for something they aren’t. I’m a believer in the role of bacteria on the microbiome and its effect on health but not
