That Earthbound quote. I’m done. Crying like a significantly younger version of myself.
I feel it right now... I realize that it was less than a month since I saw him in the E3 Digital Event. And now to see this news of him...
Hard not to shed a tear reading all these tweets and seeing all those drawings and pictures.
No doubt. I was greatly influenced by him. It’s a sad day/night. Just going to play some games tonight and make some games tomorrow. We are all lucky to have had him.
You know each time I see a post about it I tell myself I won’t get sad again. I’ve already been sad today but then I click it and get sad again.
True heartbreak. May you go directly to heaven Mr. Iwata.
This is the worst news to wake up to. I literally can’t stop crying. I’ll probably sleep clutching my 3DS tonight. Thank you for everything, Iwata-san. Your memory lives forever.
Dropped some bananas off at the Nintendo World store in NYC on my way home tonight.
Never met Mr. Iwata, but I feel I lost a true gamer friend. Rest in peace Satoru.
I’ll throw out my own suggestion for a tribute that you can do as a fan.
Holy shit, I just started crying.
I feel especially sad because one of his last, if not last, public communications was apologizing for the E3 Nintendo Direct. It was pointed out on Twitter and just made me feel all kinds of sadness and regret.
God, this is just as depressing as when Gunpei Yokoi passed away. Pardon me while I curl up into a little ball and sob in the corner.
I did not, at all, manage to get through this news post with a dry face.
I tried to play some Kirby...just couldn’t do it...I’m gonna need a few days
